2025 EDITION: “Shifting Realities”

Warsaw off ART is an independent art festival that is constantly changing its face, seeking new forms of presenting art outside the boundaries of official institutions. Its history includes a variety of formats — from open art studios to exhibitions organized in unusual spaces in Warsaw.

Depending on the edition, the events were local, national, or international in nature, presenting both established artists and — as in the 2024 edition — young artists: students and graduates of art academies. Warsaw off ART focuses on openness and diversity, being an initiative of artists that enriches and complements the institutional cultural offer of the capital. In its 2025 edition, the festival focuses on artists with recognized achievements. The exhibition will be held on two floors of the exhibition space in the heart of Warsaw – Elektrownia Powiśle.

Shifting Realities
This exhibition presents diverse perspectives from artists from Poland and abroad. On the one hand, they analyze the complexity of the contemporary world, and on the other, they imagine its possible futures. In the face of challenges such as wars, the climate crisis, and social tensions, their work becomes
a space of hope, showing possibilities for transformation and alternative paths of development. Through painting, sculpture, spatial installations, video, graphics, and performance, the artists invite both reflection and celebration of the power of imagination, which can reshape reality. The exhibition will also present selected street art phenomena to more fully reflect the language of contemporary visual arts.

Opening: September 19, 2025, 7:00 p.m., Elektrownia Powiśle, Warsaw. Exhibition open September 20–21
Saturday, September 20, Fabrice Jünger, concert for flute and electronics
